Rip that Beam from Your Eye…and…Fly…

There is nowhere you can run…
nowhere you can hide…
sit on a boulder… watch the setting sun…

Excuses you must defend…
the truth…excuses hide…
the lies on which you depend…
rip that beam from your eye…

In your heart…hear a simple song…
hear a song of love…
hear it all day long, my friend…
in a world of push n’ shove…

Nowhere to run….nowhere to hide…
in the pitch black cave…shadows dance on your lies…
sit at the entrance… watch the rising tide…
one moment the face is seen… the next it retreats inside…

In your heart…hear a simple song…
hear a song of love…
hear it all day long, my friend…
in a world of push n’ shove…

You’ve been down that lonely road… you know where it leads…
to your self-made living hell…where every day you bleed…
jump young soul…from the nest…learn fast how to fly…
allow your heart to…soar beyond…leave the animal behind…
